Technically, runtime error is a
problem which occurs in then midst of your computer running a
particular application. Runtime errors often are hitches in
programs which the designers anticipated but could do nothing
about.
With Respect to the Internet Explorer also the same applies. The
Runtime Error in this case is an Error which occurs while the
explorer is running and trying to compile a page’s information.
The Internet Explorer in these cases shows a Dialogue box saying
a runtime Error has error click Ok to Debug or Cancel to
Continue.
It is basically the dialogue which pops up for various errors
asking us if we may wish to debug the error. This happens
because we have enabled the Script debugging in our Internet
Explorer settings. The purpose to enable this setting is to
allow us to debug various errors that occur at the runtime.
Some of the probable causes behind a runtime error message are:
52 Runtime Error
Errors on Page
General Runtime Errors.
52 Runtime Error: This error occurs when there is a bad file
name in the JavaScript. It occurs when the Explorer is trying to
find a file or a component of Javascript and is unable to find
the same. This happens either due to an error in the page or due
to a network connection problem. You may try hitting the refresh
button a couple of times to solve the problem. And if that helps
then in all probabilities it was a network error, else further
investigation is required.
Errors on Page: This error occurs because of the catch all
statement in the Architecture of the browser. This remains that
either there is an unhandled error and it is because the browser
was unable to read something properly from the webpage. It
happens generally due to a network problem again and may be a
temporary problem.
Runtime Errors: These are general Runtime Errors, and there can
be various reasons for these. Since the version 5.5 of the
Internet Explorer the Script debugging has been enabled by
default and it gives this message for various types of errors.
The simple solution is to disable the script debugging feature
from the settings of the Internet Explorer. This will make sure
that not all the errors pop up as runtime errors which ask you
to debug them.
There are various other application level runtime errors
associated with the Internet Explorer. These are basically
runtime errors that can occur to any Windows Application:
Some of these are:
Illegal Function call
Out of Memory
Error in loading DLL
Bad File name
Path/File Access Error
DLL is not supported
Overflow
Division by zero
Device unavailable

The Bug Dr will
repair all Internet Explorer runtime errors and restore
lost performance and speed that is lost over time.
